Made from 100% aluminum, PAKMULE will never rust, weighs a mere 42lbs, and yet is burly enough to handle 650lbs of cargo!

Our Pro series racks feature a solid aluminum tongue (yes a burly, 2″x2″ solid piece of structural grade aluminum right into the hitch) to handle the toughest loads and the knarliest roads. All Pro series racks are hand welded, and then heat-treated for extra strength right here in Texas.
Everything you need, and nothing you don’t. The pipe frame design of our Pro series units are made for big gear and large loads. They self clean, resist holding dirt or mud, and provide unlimited spots to wrap your MULEstraps around, to ensure your gear doesn’t go anywhere.
Includes our patented anti-wobble connection that bolts your PAKMULE directly to your hitch, keeping everything secure, whether you’re crossing a continent or rambling down some backroad. Pro Series racks also include our Stainless Steel lock for added hitch security. PAKMULE installs into a 2″ square receiver opening. With reducers, the PAKMULE will fit in a 2.5″ receiver hitch. Make sure to get the right pin for your hitch – 2″ Pin (most vehicles with a 2-2.5″ receiver), 3″ Pin (vehicles with a 3″ receiver + new model Rivian R1S and Lexus GX550), 2″ Extended Pin (New Model Lexus GX460, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, and Sequoia).
All PAKMULE Hitch Racks feature a patented design that make it easy to raise SUV lift gates, and drop truck tailgates while loaded down (in most cases) with gear to make accessing all your gear easy. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Be aware of proximity to exhaust. Heat from vehicle exhaust can damage paint and can melt cargo products loaded. This is primarily a concern on rear-facing exhaust

The Original ships fully welded and assembled, and therefore ships in a HUGE box. We ship the Original via Freight Carrier; This is not the UPS Ground or FEDex trucks your normal orders come in – Freight requires an 18-Wheeler for delivery, like when you order a sofa, therefore the freight carrier will call you to coordinate and schedule delivery. Current transit time, once it leaves our dock, is about 5 business days depending on location (weekends don’t count). Rural areas may take longer. Please call us with your address for specific details if needed.

In the words of my old man, this thing is built like a brick s**thouse. Before owning the pakmule, I owned a few others from Wal Mart. I say a few because they quickly rusted out, looked like a deleted scene from Sanford and Son, and would literally bend when securing a ratchet strap. The pakmule is no joke. It’s also completely wobble free, which was a serious issue for me until now. I’ve been rough on mine for almost a year now and it still looks brand new. I would also highly recommend the mule straps, especially with roto-molded coolers. They look awesome and will secure your gear in a snap.

Thanks guys for making such a great product. Very strong. Light enough that 1 man can handle. I can say because of its large storage area, it is paying for itself in fuel savings since I do not have to pull my trailer across the country near as much.

Okay…..so I have probably bought every type and size of receiver hitch basket made and was never satisfied. I have looked at the PakMule for quite sometime and then at the NRA in Dallas we saw PakMule at their booth. My buddies and I spent over 30 minutes trying to pick apart their hitch basket and we failed in finding anything lacking. It is TRULY the ultimate in receiver hitch baskets, If there was a Receiver Hitch Basket Hall of Fame the PakMule would be an inductee every year. So much to the delight of my buddies I bought one and I have no regrets whatsoever. Did I gulp at the price?…..yep!…..do I feel I got value for my money?…..yep!…..is it a lifetime hitch baske?t…..yep!….do my buddies and unsavory relatives keep trying to borrow my PakMule?….yep!…..do I let them?…..NOPE!….cause I am not willing to hunt them down like I am Jason Bourne when they don’t return it! In all seriousness it is a well thought out, well built receiver hitch basket which should last for a long, long time. FYI….. I don’t know the people at PakMule and I almost never write reviews. Remember what they say…..buy the best possible equipment you can afford and you will only cry once.

This thing is a BEAST. Sent it off to get Rhino coated as soon as I received it and the folks at Rhino Lining were totally shocked at how well this thing is built. They laughed when I said I said I wanted my hitch carrier coated, but they quit laughing when I pulled it out of the back of the truck. Use mine on my hunting truck and the shiny aluminum is a no no.
Can’t wait to load this thing down with a huge load of wild hogs. Won’t have to lift them so high to get in the back of the truck and the truck bed won’t get as bloody and messy. AND MOST important of all its made IN America by AMERICANS. Win Win Win

I hunt for a living spending most of the year in some of the nastiest most remote country in North America. I use the original model and have never had to tighten it after going through rough country. It’s pretty incredible how sturdy it is. I spend my late winters on the west coast of Sonora Mexico, right along the Sea of Cortez, it’s really nasty country where I’ve never seen a smooth road. Not only is it the most durable hitch basket out there, it’s also the most well built and thought out basket I’ve had. They nailed it with this one.
