  • PAKMULE Guide

    Location: New Braunfels, Texas

    Job Description:

    PAKMULE is seeking a Guide with a positive, hard-working attitude that wants to make an impact on the company, and its customers while guiding them to the right products they need for their next adventure.  Our customers are the best, and you’ll have the opportunity to help them do more and go further (and likely get to hear about their trips when they return!)  In this unique role you’ll work directly with our Founder while having the ability to improve processes that will directly impact customers, your role and the company.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Answer phones and reply quickly to customer emails (in a friendly and helpful manner)
    • Answer product questions and help customer determine which PAKMULE products are best for their vehicles and travel/activity needs
    • Serve Retail and DTC customers by accurately processing orders and packaging/shipping small parcel orders
    • Win customer loyalty by promptly resolving any shipping or warranty issues
    • Maintain customer logs and send weekly reports to management
    • Maintain and Manage Inventory
    • Identify product needs or product improvements through daily interaction with customers and advise management on findings
    • Improve packaging and shipping processes
    • Work with parcel and freight carriers to improve rates, service and order integration
    • Identify opportunities for other process improvements, and make recommendations
    • Oversee improvements and upgrades where applicable (i.e. systems, software, packaging, etc)
    • Assemble some products, especially in initial product releases
    • Be proactive in all tasks
    • Be able to work without supervision
    • Be flexible with job role and function. This is a small business, so there may unordinary tasks that are required (help with photoshoots, service company vehicles, sweep/clean warehouse, find/buy equipment, coordination of calendars, charity donation allocation, run to home depot, etc). We’re looking for a hand raiser here.

    Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: 

    • University/college degree is a plus but not required 
    • Experience in packaging, shipping operations and improvements a plus 
    • Efficiency and Agility with office software, email, social media, typing, and phone systems required 
    • Previous experience, especially in particular industry a plus 
    • Ability to adapt, with a desire to learn and improve is required 

     

    PAKMULE is excited to grow our business by assembling a fun, hardworking team that boasts a positive, can-do attitude. We will be setting up an office space in New Braunfels where we can grow ideas, develop products, solve problems, encourage one another and laugh at dumb jokes. Working from home may be required in the interim. Work hours are M-F 8:30am-5pm. Friday’s end at 3pm if work is wrapped up, and the weekends are for fun, travel and living the PAKMULE lifestyle. New Braunfels is a fantastic community that embodies “outside.” With 2 rivers, a quaint downtown and LIVE MUSIC everywhere, it’s the perfect place to live, work and have fun. Located between Austin and San Antonio and a gateway to the Texas Hill Country for day trips and weekend road trips alike. It’s an outsider adventure lovers paradise!
